LOVE ALL, SERVE NOW
The one who loves all intensely begins perceiving in all living beings a part of himself, and he who conceives the self as part of the universal soul does not look down on anyone.
~YAJUR VEDA, 40.6

At CPT we are deeply committed to providing the optimum environment of love and care for each and every child. This love and care stems out of the deep belief that love is divine and that it is the number one requirement for all beings, especially children. A deep love and nurturing is essential to develop a child's true sense of self worth and security. This is a view that is shared by all teachers and staff members. It is with this view that classes are conducted and all activities are carried out.

There comes a time in the evolution of a soul when they can no longer close their eyes to the suffering around them. This is a beautiful point of awakening, when we realize that what affects one individual concerns all. A desire to give freely of one's time, resources and life force to those who are less fortunate naturally springs up in the heart. This is the urge that gave birth to The Children's Project and that continues to stimulate its expansion. The children are affected by this energy and we see them naturally take advantage of opportunities to serve others. Whether it be older children helping younger, looking after the dogs, cooking, serving food to teachers and guests or washing clothes, they are daily developing a love of service.

A person should strive to use every talent and skill they have, not only for his or her own benefit, but for the benefit of the whole world. Understand that society is the source of whatever pleasure one derives and whatever wealth one achieves in life. We owe everything to society and should be grateful to society for all that we receive from it. We have to repay this debt by helping at least as many people as we can. With a genuine keenness or readiness to serve others, one can attain happiness in any group or community, and the very eagerness to serve others will endow you with the power and skill necessary for the required service.
